This annual celebration brought together artists, performers, and residents for a day centered on self expression, inclusivity, and creativity.

Held on June 7th at Lincoln Park, Pride Fest continues to grow as a central event for the township. Created by the Rutherford Pride Alliance, the event provides a welcoming space for all to celebrate identity through art, music, and shared experience.
PortraitsNJ and the Role of Fantasy in Portrait Art
Featuring members of the Art Association of Rutherford, including PortraitsNJ founder John Zollo, the artwork focused on fantasy themes blended with technical pastel precision. This approach allows portrait art to become more expressive and imaginative, connecting strongly with younger audiences.
A Standout Piece: Fey Blade of the Emerald Wood
This hyperrealistic pastel artwork features a woodland fae warrior rendered with detailed texture and emotional depth. The balance of softness and strength makes it a standout example of contemporary pastel portrait art.

Despite rain throughout the day, attendees gathered under tents, leading to deeper engagement with the artwork. PortraitsNJ sold over 50 prints and 3 original works, showing strong demand for pastel and fantasy-based portrait art.
